A Brief History

The Berks County Youth Basketball League was originally founded as two separate leagues, one for boys and one for girls. The two different leagues both found themselves without commissioners after the 2017 - 2018 season and two new people stepped up to fill those roles.

For the 2018 - 2019 season, the leagues were combined to officially form the Berks County Youth Basketball League. After the first season of the leagues having been combined, the boys league commissioner resigned and the league became completely unified, including having a single executive of the league and entirely shared resources for both genders.

As part of the shift to create a unified league for all Berks County Youth Travel Basketball, this website was established.
